Earls Croome

Since the coat made it's way to my home around February it has stayed there whilst seeking a suitable route to Finland. In all that time I have travelled several times to the Midlands where I have been 30 mins away from Markus's Gran, Anne Tomkins, a fact I was previously unaware of. Today I reunited the coat, if not with its owner, at least with its family. And now it will continue its journey without me.

  1. I'd love to post a picture of the coat and owner. BUT at the moment he (that is I) am the NAKED MAN!!! As the coat was forgotten by Granny Tomkins and thus is hanging on her back door.

It is doubtful that any coat has been hoped for so much and yet not arrived. Although I do recall a coat story from my village. It is about a coat that was very old and a family heirloom. A picture of that coat (with wearer) can be seen in the book Rippingale Village!
